Andre Rieu Terrace Package - Useful to know.

During dinner at the Vrijthof you will sit at so-called King’s tables, which means that several people from different companies sit together at one table. If you would like to sit at one table with friends who have also booked this package (booked separately), please let our reception know.
We would like to point out that the entire organization of the terrace arrangement at the Vrijthof is not the responsibility of Parkhotel Valkenburg. The restaurant of Friends of the Vrijthof provides the dinner and Rieu-Productions provides the concert.
Other than the welcome drink, all other drinks consumed at the Vrijthof will be at your own expense.
This is a non-cancellable reservation. Should for any reason the concert not take place, we will act in accordance with the decisions of Rieu Productions. If a concert does not take place and the funds of the concert tickets are refunded, we will refund the value of the concert tickets.

What does my day look like?

Check in

From 3 p.m., it is possible to check in at Parkhotel Valkenburg. At the reception you will receive the key to your room, your concert tickets and an information letter with household notices. Of course you are welcome to join us in the hotel before 3 pm. We have a cozy living room and a beautiful terrace. Ideal for quietly getting into the mood together, perhaps while enjoying a drink and a lunch or a small snack. Please do not leave your luggage in the car, you can place it in a special room until check-in.

Departure to Maastricht

The bus leaves from the hotel at 5:45 p.m. and takes you to the Market Square in Maastricht. This is a 5-10 minute walk from the Vrijthof. Don’t forget to bring proper clothing; usually the weather is beautiful when Rieu performs but should it be a bit colder, a sweater or cardigan for later in the evening would be nice.

Dinner and concert at the Vrijthof Square

Upon arrival at the Vrijthof, you will walk to “your” terrace, which is the terrace of Friends of the Vrijthof. We will give you the exact location at check-in. One welcomes you there with a glass of bubbles. You will be seated at so-called king tables which means you will be seated at a table with other people. Dinner starts at 19:00. If you would like to sit at one table with friends and have not reserved at the same time, please let us know in time. Please note that drinks other than the glass of Cava upon reception are at your own expense.

Concert

The concert will begin at 9 p.m. From then on you can enjoy a fantastic evening of music and spectacle on the Vrijthof.

Return trip to the hotel

Around 24:00 the concert ends. You will then walk back to your bus which is waiting for you at the same place where you were dropped off. You will have plenty of time for this; the bus leaves about half an hour after the concert ends. Make sure you are not too late; the costs for an alternative transport back to the hotel will be for your own account.

Upon arrival at the hotel

Talk after the concert while enjoying a drink at the hotel. Until 2:00 our bar is open and here we also present a snack.
