Parkhotel Valkenburg is truly close to our hearts. Every single day, we do everything we can to offer our guests more than just a comfortable stay; we want to provide a special, lasting experience. Our hotel is much more than just a place to spend the night. As soon as you step inside, you immediately feel the unique atmosphere of a building with a rich history.
Our monumental hotel was built in 1892 by the famous national architect Pierre Cuypers, known for the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam Central Station, among others. Staying in such a characteristic national monument is an experience in itself. Here, you aren’t just sleeping in a hotel room, but in the middle of a piece of Dutch history.
It is precisely those authentic details that give Parkhotel Valkenburg its charm. The soft creak of the wooden floors, the high ceilings, the characterful corridors, and the historic atmosphere allow you to pause and reflect on everything this building has witnessed over the years. The room offers everything you need to stay comfortably: a desk with chair, mini fridge, safe, extra pillows and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathroom has a shower and toilet. Located on the first floor on the street side, this room is ideal for up to two people.
Comfort room

The comfort room offers a pleasant atmosphere and practical amenities for a relaxing stay. Equipped with a desk with chair, mini fridge with a bottle of water, safe, extra pillows and tea and coffee making facilities, the room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Rooms are located on the garden or street side and are spread over floors 0 to 3.
Balcony room

The balcony room is perfect for those who want to enjoy the comfort of a cozy hotel room complemented by a private balcony. The balcony offers a wonderful place to relax, have a cup of coffee or read a good book. The rooms are spread across the first, second and third floors, on both the garden and street sides.
Comfort 'de luxe' room
The comfort “de luxe” room offers that extra bit of luxury for an even more enjoyable stay. Located on the fourth floor, this room combines a more modern look with extra comfort that will make you happy. You will find everything you are used to in a comfort room: a stylish desk with a nice chair, mini fridge with a bottle of water, safe, extra pillows and coffee and tea making facilities. The private bathroom has a shower and toilet, and for extra relaxation, soft bathrobes and slippers await you. Two of these rooms are equipped with a bathtub, ideal for total relaxation after a day out.
Family room
Our family room is ideal for families or larger parties who want to spend the night together. Whether you come with four, five or seven people, we have a room that fits your party perfectly. Each room has a unique layout and offers smart solutions for a comfortable stay with children. Some rooms have a bunk bed, others have connecting doors for extra privacy. When you make your reservation, you can indicate your preferred layout; we will do our best to take this into account. The Family Rooms are located on the first floor to the third floor and are equipped with modern facilities: a mini fridge with a bottle of water, safe, extra pillows and coffee and tea facilities. Thus, the room combines comfort, space and coziness for a pleasant stay with the whole family.
Junior suite
The junior suite is the perfect choice for those who want to enjoy extra comfort and luxury during their stay. Located on the top floor, these stylish suites offer plenty of space and tranquility for optimal relaxation. Each junior suite features a spacious bathroom with a lovely bathtub, ideal for a refreshing moment or a relaxing evening. The rooms are equipped with every convenience: a mini fridge with a bottle of water, safe, extra pillows and coffee and tea making facilities, and soft bathrobes with slippers for that true hotel feel.
Juliana suite
The juliana suite is the hotel’s most luxurious room, perfect for a special stay or a romantic overnight. The suite is elegantly furnished and features a comfortable sitting area, desk with chair, mini fridge with a bottle of water, safe, extra pillows, coffee and tea making facilities, as well as soft bathrobes with matching slippers. The private bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and a private Jacuzzi for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Located on the top floor, the suite offers tranquility, privacy and an unforgettable stay in luxury.
