BEFORE ARRIVAL - PREPARATION
Is it possible to put an extra bed in a room?
On some of our rooms it is possible to place an extra bed. The cost of this is €40 per night. A crib is also available for €10 per night. Please communicate your request to our reception at least one day before arrival.
Is it possible to charge my electric car at your place?
Yes, Parkhotel Valkenburg has 6 electric charging stations. At check in, the receptionist will inform you of the location of these charging stations.
What are the special facilities for disabled and wheelchair users?
The elevator provides access to all floors. We recommend booking junior suites because these rooms are larger with a larger bathroom and separate shower. Also, the doors on the junior suites are wider.
We also have a disabled bathroom available on the 2nd floor.
Do you also provide special requests for birthdays, wedding days etc?

May we bring our pet? What are the costs?
- Your pet is welcome. Cost is € 15.00 per night per pet.
- At the hotel, pets are welcome in our living room, not in our restaurant and breakfast area. Would you still like to serve your pet breakfast or dinner? You can do that in our living room.
RESERVATION - CONFIRMATION - CANCELLATION
What is included in the room rate if I book directly with the hotel?
- If you book directly through our website, parking and use of our wellness are included in the price. In addition, booking directly through the website with the hotel gives certain benefits. See our website.
- If you book through another website, you will not have the benefits of a gold booker and other benefits listed above may vary.

Until when is it possible to cancel free of charge?
- Up to 48 hours before arrival, you can cancel free of charge by mail. With the exception of non-refundable / non-refundable reservations. You may cancel these but you will not receive a refund.
Do you accept gift cards?
We accept a number of gift certificates:
- Restaurant gift card / dinner gift card -> for restaurant
- Sligro voucher -> for hotel and/or restaurant
- VVV -> for hotel and/or restaurant
- VVV (nice getaway in your own country) -> for hotel and/or restaurant
I want to pay with my credit card. Is this possible?
It is possible to pay with your credit card. If you indicate this while booking, the credit card does get charged immediately. So keep this in mind.
Would you rather not pay directly? Then you can also pay on the spot with your credit card or request a payment request by phone or email. If contacting, please have your reservation number handy.
I want to change or cancel my booking through an external party (Booking, Hotelspecials, Social Deal etc). Can you do this?
No. All reservations made through an outside party cannot be changed or cancelled by us. You must then contact the party with whom you made the reservation.

What are the arrival and departure times?
- The hotel room is available for check-in from 3 p.m. onwards. Based on availability, you can check in earlier at an additional rate (standard €15 and €7.50 from 2 p.m.).
- You must be checked out by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
- You can also book a late check out with us. A late check out is until 1 p.m. and costs an additional €15.00. We also have the ´lazy day´ option, this is a late check out until 17:00 and costs €35.00 extra.
- NOTE: mainly during the busy period, the lazy day is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Where do I park my vehicle?
- The hotel has a private parking lot located directly at the hotel. To reach it, drive up at the intersection. The reception desk is also located there. The parking fee is included in the price unless you are farming with an outside party, in which case it may be different. Never leave valuables in your car.
- The hotel has 8 charging stations for electric cars. Please inquire at check in where these places are located; the receptionist will show you the way.
How will I receive my key if I reserve at the apartments?
You will pick up your room key at the reception of Parkhotel Valkenburg at Neerhem 68.
Please note that if you have booked an apartment you cannot park for free at the hotel. If you do want this it must be booked at the reception. Parking fees are €10 per day.
How will I receive my key if I have made a reservation at Villa Valkenburg?
- You will create your key on site at Villa Valkenburg.
- In your email, you have received a door code to enter Villa Valkenburg. There you will find a tablet where you can check in. This is also where you create your key.
- If this is not possible, you can come and pick up your key at the reception of Parkhotel Valkenburg at Neerhem 68. The reception desk is located on the 3rd floor.
OUR HOTEL ROOMS
Are there air conditioners in the rooms?
Because our building is an old national monument, we are not allowed to install air conditioners. Therefore, there are no air conditioners in our rooms. However, there is a fan in each room (in summer) and it can always be requested at the reception as well.
Are earplugs available in the rooms?
We are limited in terms of renovations because we must comply with the rules associated with national monuments, this also affects the sound insulation of the rooms. Consequently, the hotel is quite noisy compared to other modern hotels. Therefore, we also have earplugs ready in the rooms (you can also pick them up for free).
Are there refrigerators in the rooms?
There is a small refrigerator in all our rooms. There is also a bottle of water waiting for you in the refrigerator. Soft drinks are not included, but we do have beverage vending machines with various drinks where you can get a drink for a few euros.
Do you have single beds?
All our beds are single beds. These cannot all be pushed apart due to the headboard with bedside tables. Only on our budget rooms is this possible. Some beds have a topper. Please consult the reception if you want to book a room with topper.
Are there towels in the rooms?
Yes, there are standard towels in every room. If you need new dry towels after a visit to the sauna or pool, you can exchange them for new towels at the reception desk.
If you are interested in a bathrobe with slippers, you can rent and add a bath linen package via mail (this costs Є15.00 per person). NOTE: This bath linen package is included by default when you have booked a suite or comfort deluxe.
OPENING HOURS
Until when is the reception available?
The front desk is staffed 24/7. So you can get there any time of the day, evening and night.
At what times do you serve breakfast?
Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
At what times can we dine at your place?
Between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. it is possible in our restaurant. We recommend booking in advance at the front desk. Several days a year the restaurant is closed, please consult our site or inquire at our reception.
What are the wellness opening hours?
Our Wellness (pool, steam room and sauna) is open from 07:00 to 24:00 Only the pool is closed on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 18:00. You enter the steam bath and sauna without (swimming) clothes, on the other hand, wearing swimwear is mandatory in the swimming pool.
Can I rent a bathrobe to go to the spa?
Bath linen packages are available (bathrobe, large towel and bath slippers) for €15 per person. If you reserve one of our suites or comfort deluxe rooms, these packages are waiting for you in the room and are included in the price.
BIKE
Can I park my bike safely?
We have a locked area where your bikes are safely stored. There is also a special spray off area for your bike where you spray clean your bike.
