One of the highlights of Valkenburg are the marl caves. You can take a guided tour through the Velvet Cave or the Municipal Cave, where you will learn more about the history and see the impressive cave paintings.
Castle ruins:
The Valkenburg Castle ruins are a must-see. You can climb to the top of the ruins for a panoramic view of the city and surrounding area. In the summer, the ruins often host events or open-air concerts.
Thermal Bath:
Valkenburg is known for its thermal baths. At Thermae 2000 you can relax in the hot baths overlooking the countryside.
Biking and hiking:
